Zosha will join the guest faculty at the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance (LAMP) Composition Academy this summer in Nova Scotia. Zosha will give lectures as well as work one-on-one with LAMP’s young composers.
Zosha, alongside Jean-Baptiste Barrière (Kaija Saariaho’s frequent collaborator and husband), will moderate a screening and discussion of Echoes of the Universe – The Music of Kaija Saariaho, a documentary about the late contemporary composer Kaija Saariaho. The event will take place at Columbia University Maison Française on November 14, 2023, 7-9pm. More info and register for free here.
Zosha has been invited by the University of Toronto Faculty of Music to give masterclass lessons to U of T graduate students, and give a talk about her music, “The Makeup (and Mockup) of a Collaborative Music Process.” More info here.
Zosha will join the University of Victoria’s 2023 Sound Genres conference, “Exploring Sound as Foundational Practice,” on May 27 and 28. Zosha will moderate the “Representing Craft in Sound Genres” panel, respond to the “Supporting Creative Hybrids: Bridging Diverse Practices Through Music Technology” keynote, and cellist Jane Chan will perform Zosha’s Dream Feed.

The IU Jacobs School of Music New Music Ensemble will perform Zosha’s time>>T. - - I. - - M.(time) - - E on April 13, 2023. Maggie Kinabrew, soprano, and Paul Armitage, trumpet will perform, and the program also features works by Ligeti and Youngje Cho.
Zosha will also be visiting IU Jacobs as a guest composer, participating in forums, lectures, and lessons, culminating with the concert. More info on the concert here.
Zosha gave a guest lecture at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music on November 24, 2022.
Zosha will be speaking to graduate and undergraduate composition students, in Department Chair Professor Melinda Wagner’s class, as part of the Juilliard School’s Composition Department Forum series on November 29, 2021.
